1. Glassmine Falls Overlook
Location: Milepost 361.2
"The attraction of Glassmine Falls Overlook is a tall, skinny waterfall that can be seen in the distance across the valley from the overlook. At the base of the waterfall is an old mica mine. Miners called the flaky, shiny mineral they mined “glass,” hence the name Glassmine Falls."
2. Price Lake Overlook
Location: Milepost 296.7
"This is one of the busiest parking areas on the Parkway, for you can get a great view of the lake from here. In fact, if a photo is all you are after, you really can’t do much better than this location."
3. Tanbark Ridge Overlook
Location: Milepost 376.7
"A wide, 180° view awaits at the Tanbark Ridge Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The ridge was named for a tannery that was located in the area." A perfect spot to watch the sunset!
4. Cowee Mountain Overlook
Location: Milepost 430
"This overlook faces southeast, making for great views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Cowee Mountain Overlook is one of the few overlooks that offer 180-degree views without any obstructions."

6. Waterrock Knob Overlook

"An ideal spot for watching sunrises and sunsets across the rugged mountains, Waterrock Knob Visitor Center sits at almost 6000 feet elevation."
7. Chestoa View Overlook

"Chestoa View offers a short, pleasant stop to picnic, rest, and take a short walk to see gorgeous views of Table Rock and Grandfather Mountain."
8. Richland Balsam Overlook
